Inner Walls – Recap

After many weeks, many layers, many fights but mostly joys, the inner walls are done !

To sum up a little, the idea behind this wall separating a noisy place from a quiet one was to make it double. So in the 25 cm thickness there are two walls that don’t touch each other to make it soundproof, i.e. the sound is stopped before being transmitted through. Also, as you can see, the windows are shifted. As a result, you can have light and more privacy at the same time. Then you understand the idea of gradation, from the big see-through to the right, where the reading and working spaces are. There will also be glass on the shifted windows on the hall side, but we’re waiting to insulate the wall and place them afterwards in case of any leak.

So, until the insulation comes, we’re working on different other things such as the outside walls and the entrance. You can come in, it’s already warm in there. Have a look and give us your opinion, it’s important for us. Things can still be commented and improved.

There’s also a nice welding work on the big windows. Our great helpers have made it elegant and simple. Have a look at the pictures and share your thoughts.
