Pax is a bookshop in Liège, Belgium. It takes place in one of the several terraced houses of the city, mostly known for their high ceilings. Architects used this height to create, with a light steel structure that reminds a scaffolding system, mezzanines and other low-ceiling levels. These are some moments hanging in time where you find yourself some privacy. But still, you remain an observer of what’s happening in some other parts of the shop.
