Columns to create private space

The finished reading space

Testing space through framing:

Setting up columns stops you from interacting with the reader from the outside, but you still feel a connection from inside the space. Framing the person so you have a good view out in front of you, but its low enough so you cant see the faces of the people moving in front of you. This way you’re not forced to interact with the person moving in front of you. The entrance clearly shows if the place is in use or not and you can decide if you want to disturb. From far away you see something of what is going on inside the space, but only from certain angels.
